hundreds. These are some of the ones I have come across and which
are generally possible to identify with a small degree of certainty
without microscopic examination.

Amphimallon solstitialis - Summer Chafer
Arhopalus rusticus
Black Oil Beetle - Meloe proscarabaeus
Calathus melanocephalus
Cassida nobilis - Pale Tortoise Beetle
Cicindela campestris - Green Tiger Beetle
Dor Beetle - Geotrupes stercorarius
Lesser Bloody nosed beetle - Timarcha goettingensis
May Bug - Cockchafer - Melolontha melolontha
Minotaur Beetle - Typhaeus typhoeus
Necrodes littoralis
Nicrophorus humator
Notoxus monocerus
Oedemera nobilis - Thick-legged Flower Beetle
Panagaeus bipustulatus
Red Soldier Beetle - Rhagonycha fulva (these are always
mating)
Rosemary Beetle - Chrysolina americana
Tawny Cockroach - Ectobius pallidus
Wasp Beetle - Clytus arietis
