About

Image description

My name is Andy Marquis, I have been interested in photography since an early age completing my GCSE and A-Level photography at the Guernsey Grammar School.

I am also a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society, having earnt my LRPS and am currently working towards my Associateship.

I have been close to nature all of my life and have developed a passion for both birds and insects and spend a fair bit of my spare time photographing what I find either with macro or telephoto lenses and am so often found with only a specalist lens and no ability to take a "normal" photo.

My equipment:

For Close Up work:

Canon EOS 5DSR

Canon MP-E65 1-5x Macro

Canon 100mm Macro

Lenses for Widefield Astrophotography and landscape:

Canon EF16-35 F4L IS Mkii

Samyang 14mm f2.8 Manual Lens (Canon)

For Birds:

Olympus OM-D EM1x

Olympus OM-D E-M1 mkii

Olympus 300mm f4 Pro

Olympus 40-150 f2.8 Pro

And Olympus lenses for Macro and General use:

Olympus 60mm Macro

Olympus 12-40 f2.8 Pro

I have also started to use a Microscope to take photographs of very small insects such as the Thrips where stacking is required. Mostly for identification purposes.

You will find a lot of photographs of birds, but there are a lot of photographs of insects still to add inclduing plenty of moths.

Everything you see is available to purchase either as a print or for digital commercial use, please contact me for details and ask about the size / style of print available, I will also let you know a cost as soon as possible. I will only print to order and do not keep a stock of printed photographs. Some photographs will enlarge better than others so I will advise the largest size I recommend for each image, some are cropped and some aren't, some which are taken in very low light may not enlarge very well compared to others in very good light.

All photographs are taken by Andy Marqus LRPS and the copyright remains with the photographer. Unauthorised copying, theft or usage in whatever form is prohibited and will be dealt with according to the appropriate copyright infrigement laws. Any use for commercial purposes will attract an appropriate invoice unless approved in advance.

I am generally approachable in respect of the use of images, especially where the purpose is non-commercial or educational where there will normally be no fee.

Andy
