Guernsey - Channel Islands
Centipedes &
Millipedes
There are several species of centipede and millipede in Guernsey, some of them easier to identify than others but they all need closer examination to identify. Centipedes often need to be measured, a leg count and photographs of the underside and rear legs plus poison claws. Millipedes also need very close examination to determine the exact species.
These
photographs are generally not sufficient to allow full
identification but all have been checked to species level unless
otherwise noted.
